Budget Manager: /trader-budget
TL;DR. Converts account size and max loss per trade into a share count and a bracket-style order sketch based on the planned stop distance.
Not financial advice. This skill does not predict prices or guarantee outcomes. Paper trading remains the default for the pack.
What it does
Converts account size and max loss per trade into a share count and a bracket-style order sketch based on the planned stop distance.
When to use it
After you accept the plan and simulation context.
Inputs
Account budget, max loss per trade, stop distance from the plan.
Outputs
Sized order sketch (for example trader/orders.json).
Upstream / downstream
- Upstream: Exit plan (+ optional Time Machine context).
- Downstream: Risk → Broker.
Cautions
- Sizing math assumes the planned stop; slippage changes real P/L.
- Do not raise max loss to “make the share count look meaningful.”
Short FAQ
Does budget enable leverage?
Upstream defaults avoid options, margin, shorting, and leverage unless you deliberately turn them on. Leave them off for paper practice.
